Thumpstar gets Category 5 status

Omicron announces its collaboration with Category 5 Motorsports to build all of its engines for the TDX Pro.

Category 5 Motorsports a small company based out of Orlando Florida have been building engines for people in the mini bike scene with some fantastic success.

With two of the best mini bike tracks in the USA, OWC and ACE on the doorstep the engines being built by Cat 5 have undergone some of the hardest testing available.

Basing it on the stock 125 motor Cat 5 adds an inner rotor, 54mm big bore kit, Wiseco high compression piston and 26mm Mikuni Carburettor. It creates a more powerful and punchy unit over the stock engine with smoother delivery and longer rev range.
